1. What is your database's name, what grade level would use the database, and what subject area would the database be used?EBSCO's MasterFILE Premier is one of the EBSCO databases. It can be used by students in middle and upper school. This database provides useful information for general reference, business, education, health, general science, and multi-cultural issues.

MasterFILE Premier is a really useful and convenient way to search for a certain topic.

4. What other features are available? Does the database allow you to download, print, email, etc? When you have typed in a word/phrase in the search box and click enter key, your results will be displayed. You can narrow your research by choosing one specific word. MasterFILE Premier gives you the option to search in periodicals, newspapers, reference books, and biographies. Once you have found what you were looking for, you have the option to print, e-mail, save, or add document to a folder.

5. Does the database show how to cite information? This particular database does show you how to cite information. It may provide the citation already, or it may provide the information you need to write the citation yourself, and the instructions on how to properly write the citation. All you need to do is click on the 'help' link at the top right hand corner of the main page. After it takes you to the help page look for Citation Styles and click on one of the links and it will show you how to properly cite your sources.

9. Can you access information from this month’s newspapers or magazines? If so, how current are they? If not, how current are they? Yes you can access information from this month's newspapers. There is also a link labeled 'EBSCO Support Site' at the bottom of the page, and it also contains information about this database.

11. What areas are lacking in this database regarding search techniques, user friendliness, options to save searches, materials available, etc.? The only thing I found was hard, was the image search.
