Ebsco's Economia y Negocios

What it is

Economia y Negocios was made in Peru by Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados. This database is a Spanish language database. It is based around business and economics. Economia y Negocios has more than 60,000 bibliographic records. It has over 200 periodicals published in Latin America and Spain. You can receive sort-of current information ranging to three months ago to information from 1980's, but the "coverage dates" change for each search. This site would be used for advanced Spanish students, mostly in high school. This easy to use because it is well organized and tells you what everything is. Ebsco even can cite the articles for you. If you want to use the options on this website check or click or fill out the boxes by each one with the information that you want to limit it to, and if it is not clear to you click on help. Search tips and help are available if you click on HELP, and click on what you are confused about on the side bar.

How to Get There

Go to CDS website at www.fwcds.org. Look under “on campus” scroll down to libraries. Click on research databases, and go to the ebsco section. Click on "login in again". The username is ftwday, and the password is ebsco. Click on ebscohost web(the first one)or press http://search.ebscohost.com/ ,and put a check by Economia y Negocios( about midway down the list).Press continue, and remember this is a Spanish web site so… use Spanish words like gato(cat). Sadly it does not have English translations for all of the articles.
